Sponsorships

Hawksmoor sponsors a wide variety of events – at an overall company level, and through individual offices.

We sponsor local arts, music, culture and sport as a way to support the communities in which we operate.

Exeter Chiefs

Exeter Chiefs

Hawksmoor Investment Management is very proud to support Premiership rugby team Exeter Chiefs for the 2019/20 season.

As Player Sponsor for prop Ben Moon, we are delighted to pledge our support for our local Premiership side, who in addition to finishing top of last season’s table were also the only Premiership team to make a profit last year.

Exeter Chiefs have always understood the importance of the club’s relationship to the local community. They have a reputation for hard work and integrity that is the envy of other Premiership clubs, and their ethos of consistency coupled with the highest ambition is likely to serve them well in the future.

Toby is well-known to gardeners across the country as a presenter of BBC Gardeners’ World and as a regular on Gardeners’ Question Time. The Garden Festivals started in 2014 when Toby and his wife Lisa decided to create a gardening event which champions smaller, specialist nurseries, to give them a chance to reach a wider audience and allow gardeners to get the best advice. Their ethos is to “work with local nurseries, artisans and craftspeople, to promote local, quality and home-grown.”

Visitors to the Garden Festivals can see over 150 exhibitors, with quality plants from award-winning nurseries, West Country crafts, artisan food and drink along with live music and family entertainment.

Central Redstar F.C.

Hawksmoor Fund Managers are proud sponsors of Central Redstar football team, who play in the Division 2 U16s Exeter and District Youth League.

The team started their 2019/20 season with a convincing 6-0 victory over Sidmouth, but the manager emphasises a style of play that focuses on the boys' enjoyment of the game, rather than the result - which is a refreshing contrast to many sports teams at this level.

TedxExeter is Exeter’s local ideas festival with global reach – now in its 8th year. It is an independently organized TED event and in 2019 it promises, as always, a “day of inspiring talks, connection and action.”

Hawksmoor is sponsoring this year's event once again because the emphasis that TedxExeter places on inspiring communities to help tackle difficult problems with innovation, enterprise and optimism aligns very closely with our own mindset. At Hawksmoor we feel strongly about making a difference in the communities in which we operate, and we offer innovative solutions for ethically-minded investors who wish to make changes to the world through their investment choices.

Cerne Abbas Music Festival

Cerne Abbas Music Festival

The Dorchester office of Hawksmoor Investment Management is a proud supporter of the Cerne Abbas Music Festival.

The Festival was founded in 1990 by Richard Hosford, leader of the Gaudier Ensemble and resident of Dorset. He was looking for a location that gave the musicians an attractive venue in which to perform, and where they could all be together for a week to play the music they wanted to play, at the highest artistic standards. He wanted to develop strong links with the community, provide accessible music to the people of Dorset and create a stimulating environment for local young musicians and children.

Cerne Abbas was his chosen location, partly because of the excellent acoustics of St Mary's Church but also because of the village and its community.
