Charities

Hawksmoor sponsors a number of charitable initiatives in the communities in which we do business.

The company also operates an Employee Volunteering Policy which allows employees to take a day’s paid leave each year to volunteer with a charity of their choice.

Sadly we are unable to help all of the charities that approach us, but we look to help those where our support can make a difference, and where our staff can get involved in local charitable activities.

Lions Clubs of Cornwall

Hawksmoor supports the Lions Clubs of Cornwall in their work to raise awareness of diabetes, and to emphasise the importance of expanding access to care through screening.

Currently, 46.5% of adults with diabetes are undiagnosed, so the purpose of diabetes screening is to identify asymptomatic individuals who may have diabetes without knowing it, and refer them on to qualified healthcare professionals for additional assessment.
