George Salmon

George is a Senior Analyst working on both UK and international equity research. He joined Hawksmoor in January 2021 from Smith & Williamson, having started his research career at Hargreaves Lansdown. Since graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in History and Economics, George has passed the Investment Management Certificate, the CISI Private Client Advice & Investment Management exam and the first two levels of the CFA series. He is registered to sit Level III in 2021.

Outside of work George enjoys bodging together furniture and other odds and ends from old scaffold boards and pallets, and (perhaps more conventionally) also has a keen interest in sports. While he can no longer classify himself as a regular on the football pitch, he still plays cricket on most Saturdays in the summer.
