
TIM HOWE
Non-Executive Director
After graduating from Exeter University with an Economics degree in 1973 Tim spent the next few years training in accountancy, investment analysis and corporate finance in the City before joining UBS in 1983 where he was Head of discretionary fund management in London. He spent most of his career at Singer and Friedlander where he was Chief Executive of Singer and Friedlander Investment Management from 1989 to 2001 when he was appointed Deputy Chairman. He resigned from Singer and Friedlander in 2005, very shortly after its takeover by Kaupthing and joined Close Private Asset Management in 2007, as a Director.
He is an Associate of the UK Society of Investments Professions and has recently succeeded Ian Henderson as Chair of the Exeter University Retirement Benefits Scheme."
